if you haven't seen it, hard candy is a pretty. um. rough movie. as such, i'm throwing up a warning for the following
➔rape
➔murder
➔suicide
➔sexuality
➔exploitation of children
➔child abuse
➔psychological abuse

not that you or your character will be bombarded by these things in a blatant or unending way, but they are concepts the movie deals with in depth and thus, things that may come up if hayley grows close to your character. i will, of course, be talking to muns quite a bit in the event such a rapport develops, but due to the sensitive nature of film i wanted to extend this notice ahead of time. if this makes you uncomfortable in it's entirety and you'd prefer not to interact with her at all, please don't hesitate to let me know and i'll make it a no go zone ♥

this would be hayley stark 101, a crash course in who the fuck is this creepy little girl and why is she talking to me. some things to know!
➔ she presents herself as a fourteen year old girl. while likely not fourteen, she is at best, still in high school.
➔ she does this because she hooks up with pedophiles on the internet. she then tortures, exploits, and mentally incapacitates these men before forcing them to commit suicide.
➔ she can comfortably fight, and often best, grown men.
➔ everything is a weapon. her sexuality, her appearance, her demeanor, your perception, your emotions. everything.
➔ she is uncommonly perceptive, but her insight is more acute when concentrated upon an 'abnormal' individual.
hayley has a machiavellian personality that manifests with sadistic tendencies.
____she is a master manipulator, wearing and fluctuating between her facades with ease
____her sense of duty is to one deranged concept of morality
____she is wholly comfortable with and unaffected by the suffering of others

SO TLDR, hayley is well. a little complicated.
which means i want to make this permissions post as simple and straightforward as possible. comments will be screened, so just let me know where you fall along the spectrum? thanks guys!
